What a spiritual feast we had on Sunday – Sitting at “His Table”. Sunday’s service was so refreshing and positive, to each of our leaders who participated on Sunday morning ….. Thank you so much for your Godly wisdom and positive input and outlook. We are truly blessed as a Body, to have you all excitedly watching over us, to see what Father is going to do in our midst. The baton will be passed on, so the questions which we may well be pondering are many. Thanks to all who shared their views. Interaction from the “Panel” with the “Body” is so healthy and leaves no room for speculation! · How do we prepare for that change? Michelle, your gentle and practical analogy was heart warming. To prepare for this change your three ‘pointers’ were so apt. Successful change comes with everyone doing our part to the very best of our ability. In order to navigate our way through the change, use the Word of God as our Map. Any form of change is not easy, but cast your mind back to that cell phone upgrade! Challenging at first, but later a pleasure to use. Central to success is the ‘mood’ we pass on. (Matthew 22:37) “Love the Lord your God with all ………” Let’s be positive and enthusiastic while encouraging others. The mind can be a ‘minefield’ so let’s take our thoughts captive (Psalm 16:9) “Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices…..” · Where to find security in transition? Shae, you mentioned three words which will remain with all of us ……. “Intimacy requires time…..” how profound and insightful, but so true of a beautiful, loving relationship. As in Joshua 3: With God going before us as in the crossing of the Jordan – the ark of the Covenant was in the centre – this is our Safe Place where He can confide in us (Psalm 25:14).
