What a stressful morning! Turned up at church to play organ for this really big funeral to find unable to turn said instrument on - start-up switch just not working. Moved to back-up plan - keyboard (right out in front of now jam-packed church as opposed to hidden away organ) - only to find power-on switch missing - somewhere in move from church hall back to church yesterday this has dropped off! By this time I had 10 minutes to spare before the start of the service and was really starting to panic. A kindly funeral guest came to the rescue and managed to turn said keyboard on using his car keys. Just remembered in time to make sure sound desk volume was okay and then coffin arrived and procession started - in the nick of time is an understatement! I am now back home chilling out, thinking about chocolate and wondering what the rest of the day will bring!
