What a weekend so far! The Premiers FINALLY got a win over the Te Aroha Eels. It was a scrappy game with neither team taking advantage of the wind. Fortunately through the depth on the Hunters bench the Premiers prevailed. The Reggies continued their dominance of the grade with a 46-6 win over Te Aroha. This team is growing week after week and will be hard to bear. One of the most exciting report backs received was from the Senior Firsts game with a 30-28 win over the Kapiti Bears Rugby League Club. Ashley Hawkes with a hat-trick. The team has established itself in the grade and were expecting them to have a big second round, marching towards the post-season. The Under 11s set the foundation for the day with a good win over Otaki. This team is well run, well coached and well supported. Well done to everyone involved with the Under 11s. The final game for the Hunters will see the Under 14s take on top team Porirua Vikings at Ascot Park, 12pm. Our 14s got a bit of a dust-up last time but since then there have been marked improvements.
