What a weekend, the blood was flowing and that was just the start - TopicsExpress

What a weekend, the blood was flowing and that was just the start to Sunday for Sean Harwood. After a good tumble Saturday morning for Jack Mackenzie, he chose to relax and rest up for the upcoming Crankworx trip out in Whistler BC, and as the weather played games with everyone not knowing how to makes its mind up the day got even more entertaining. Between backboards for some, trees for others and a few lucky ones that got to have the sweet taste of dirt on there lips the day went well. Senior Sport saw Michael Battiston pull a solid 18th, in both Master 30 and Senior Expert, Peter-John Wegrynowski and Brandon Mcquaid reeled in a pair of hard earned 5ths. Our lone Elite rider Mark Battiston was in a heavily stacked field with the likes of World Cup racer Kyle Sangers and ended up with a well deserved 14th to keep him in the hunt for more. This season so far, has been an eye opener for some and a game changer for others. Sean is on the brink of his first podium finish while Jack got his first taste of the top 3 at East Coast Open. While our Veteran riders learn how to keep up with the new young talent pool, and coach our younger ones, showing them some secrets that even they cant see. After the 2nd O-Cup of this year the field sits with the overalls as: Jack Mackenzie 9th CADET Michael Battiston 10th SENIOR SPORT Peter-John Wegrynowski 3rd Master 30 Brandon Mcquaid 4th SENIOR EXPERT Mark Battiston 9th Elite/Pro Sean has had a hard start, and he is pushing very hard and it will come its only a matter of time.
