What a wonderful time at the Houston Quilt Festival this past week. Creativity just doesnt stop. A privilege to be able to view such creative work and knowing the possibilities one can create. I also met a beautiful china doll Tae Sun who spent time with me telling me of how her grandmother, mother and herself made their own hemp and silk into threads, wove fabulous panels and adorned them with hand done embroidery, beads and hand made knots. She told me they did not sell their work because a price could not be determined. She was taught by her grandmother, and mother since she was ten. Such talent--thank you Lord for the privilege of this meeting.
