What a wonderful treat to wake up this morning and find so many birthday wishes from friends and family, near and far. Its been a wonderful celebration in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. Its a special treat to share this day with several birthday twins-Gina James Vigna, Rosy Jalifi , Vicki Richards Atkinson, Joe Bill Watkins, June Kissinger and Kandy Glass. I hope our joint birthday is filled with love and happiness! Not so long ago, I was grousing about ageing and all that accompanies it--new wrinkles, the effects of gravity, cracking bones, aching joints, etc. This year, after losing several people close to me, Ive realized that another year around the sun is a gift denied to many. So Ive changed my tune and today I am grateful for the gift of another year, for the love of family and friends, for good health, a job I lover and the many other blessings in my life that I dont begin to deserve. I give profound thanks for all of this and especially for all of you, dear friends for the gift of your friendship!
