What an awesome time playing at the River Stop this weekend in Newaygo, many friends came and wished Laura well on her upcoming wrist surgery and we really appreciate that more than you know! Thank you for coming and spending your time with us before we take off the month of April, it was great seeing your smiling faces! Laura is nervous about surgery, but steadfast in getting her wrist taken care of, and I will be sure she gets good home health care, lots of eat and good food to aid in her healing ;). We made a great deal of new friends this weekend too Rock on! Friday started off with Tony Gates Mornings, with Tony and Ed reminiscing about the WLAV 40th Anniversary, then talking about the River Stop on Croton and that we would be playing there this weekend. They then went on to finding the meanings of Tetrad, and spoke of Blood Moons and Tax day...lol Thank you to Tony and Ed for their sincere interest in our band as well as the nice things they continue to say about us and the support they show to us. Rock on 97 WLAV! So, then we were havin a great night rockin out, and who walks in the door? Tony Gates...lol...and we didnt even recognize him! Between being blinded by our new LED lights how and being blind without my glasses, I didnt even know he was there...lmao So, Friday ended on a great note! Saturday morning I sent Tony a thank you and asked if it was him at the bar on Friday, because Laura thought she seen him, but wasnt sure because she was blinded by the lights as well, lol. When we finished on Friday this gentleman had left and Laura said to me, I think Tony was here...I was like, really? So, we finished the night, packed up and went home still wondering if it was him, lol. So, we show up to the gig Saturday and there is a note written on one of our cards, he said, I couldnt stay long, But have a drink on me...and left money to buy the entire band a drink! Classy guy...:) So this morning, I sent him a message and said So, It was you! ;) Lmao And thanked him again for everything. Speaking of thanks, thank you to Julia, Greg Love , Linda , Thomas, Rebecca, Tracy, Betty, ummmmm, going on memory now, and it isnt that great...lol ummmm, Celesta and Jeff Wilcox, lots of Tetradheads thats for sure! Jeff brought us a bunch of venison, thank you buddy, we will be having some today! Cindy and Ray, thank you for everything as well as the kick ass staff you have...Kelly with a K and Karla with K busted their butts Saturday night, must of walked 10 miles each, I hope they got some good tips! If you were there this weekend, and I forgot to mention you in this post, please speak up and say hey, I was there too! :) I always seem to forget someone...lol We will be at the Riverbend on May 3rd and then the Driftwood on May 4th ready to Rock! Thank you all again for your continued support for our band and the well wishes and support you have given to Laura and to us over the last 3 years...Good luck Laura
