What an evening. New spot on a new wma I havent hunted this year.Had this buck at 10 yds at 6pm and couldnt get a shot cause of a limb,watched him walk off. 15 mins later had a doe and yearling come from my right and feed under a big oak at 15 yds in front of me.all total they were there at least 30 mins.I could hear another deer behind me and couldnt move the whole 30 mins.I must have a good heart, cause it was bout to jump out, not knowing what was behind me.does finally left and this buck came in under me at 2 yds from my tree. walked straight away, turned and stuck him at 10yds quartering away.This Barnett with a 125gr rage is one deadly piece of equipment.Arrow went in just under the spine, hit a rib on the other side and came out between his front legs. Blood spraying on impact. Deer went 40 yds.
