What annoys me the most is this: how many people marched for support for Palestine yesturday in SA and how many are marching today for Israel? A land in conflict very far from our country and we can actually do very little in real terms to do any change over there. Why is it then that the same is not done here by the marchers when 15000 plus South Africans are murdered every year or to make a voice heard over corruption in government and so on? I think I know why... you can march and show solidarity for your chosen side overseas without actually risking anything. Doing the same here you would get ridiculed by others or arrested by the powers that be. So are we afraid to stand up to corruption and murders and those that are in government who do nothing to stamp it out. I dont know who 1st said it but If you wont stand for one thing you will fall for everything
