What are everyones thoughts on this? I feel like its ridiculous. Anything and everything that you do to discipline your children nowadays is going to scar them for life. Sooner or later, studies will come out that even just telling them that they are doing something wrong is going to mess with their psyche and self esteem. I believe we are raising a generation of kids who think that the world is all sunshine and rainbows, that if they WANT something they NEED it, and that they can do no wrong - but if they do there will be zero consequences. I will continue to use time outs because an almost two year old cannot sit there and have an in depth conversation about their behavior. Pretty clear the people at Time have never sat down and tried to reason with a two year old because I have and it doesnt work lol. **megan**
