What are you doing for Mole Day? On October 23 between 6:02 am and 6:02 pm Mole Day celebrates Avogadros Number (6.02 x 1023), the basic unit of measurement in chemistry. The day is set aside to encourage people to learn about chemistry with creative projects celebrating the mole. The theme this year is Mole-o-Ween! Can photos of Mole-o-Ween projects be shared with the tag #FolklifeHalloween2014 and be considered to become part of the collections of the Library of Congress? Absolutely! We welcome documentation of new traditions as well as old ones between October 22 and November 5, 2014. For complete step by step instructions see blogs.loc.gov/folklife/2014/10/halloween-photo-instructions/?loclr=fbafc Learn more about Mole Day at moleday.org/
