What are you wasting? Recently I gathered all the coins from my drawers, the floor, bags, etc. and I was tempted to trash them until I saw the amount I was starting to accumulate. I put them in a plastic container and took them to a coin counter to be exchanged for cash. Who would have thought that loose change that was scattered everywhere, literally, could turn out to be worth a significant amount of cash? I simply had to pool my resources, put them in the right place, and cash in on their value. From this experience it dawned on me how much value we have laying around that we are not putting to good use by pooling our resources. Many of our lives reflect this picture. Don’t let things of value slip by. Many of us don’t recognize value until it’s gone. Then we mourn the relationships we took for granted, money we wasted, and opportunities we let slip by. We have so many things of significant value that are waiting to be pulled together to produce something great; that are simply misplaced and being wasted in our lives. You have dreams that have been shelved because of mistakes, rejection, and lack of planning that deserve to be lived out. Take your dreams off the shelf and replace them with books that you write about living your dreams. I want to challenge you to look around and see if there are any things of value that you are wasting by not using them and putting them in their right place. Little become much when you place it in the Master’s hand. The beginnings of any turnaround in your life can start by using what is in your own house.
