What can be classified as beautiful to start with and who set this standard of so called beauty? A size zero figure, flawless skin, long legs that seem to go on forever, a long lustrous mane, perfect straight pearly whites. Thats what most of us believe to be beautiful. Why though? The answer is quite simple- society. Society is made up of you and I though, so in essence we ourselves are actually to be blamed for this abominable picture of what we deem beautiful. So let us as a society, stand back, stop feeding into the media that has brainwashed us into thinking the silly notion that beauty has a perfect size zero. Let us not raise our children with the belief that beauty comes in one shape and size. The change starts with us. I dont know about you all, but I, for one love the fact that I dont fit into the stereotype of what is deemed beautiful. I might not be Miss South Africa or anywhere close but I am ME and I would not trade that for all the tea in China. Embrace the fact that you are different, love the skin you are in. Oh and if I havent said it before, each and every one of you are beautiful. #shygirl
