What can you do on October 9? (Its this Thursday!) The NE PANS/PANDAS Association has started a social networking campaign! Please help them spread the word... There is only one thing we are asking you to do on Thursday, October 9th in honor of Pandas Awareness Day! It will take you minutes to do this but the outcome will be far reaching and could be life changing for so many. Adam and Robin have agreed to let us use a beautiful video they created about their own journey healing their son. We would like to blast this video all over social media on Thursday, October 9th along with a message. Here is a link to the video so you can share! You just need to copy and paste this in your Facebook Message! Its that easy. We hope that if just one parent, friend, grandparent sees this video and recognizes something in this story that can lead them to get help for a child that might have PANS/PANDAS, then we did good. Please consider posting this link on your personal Facebook page, sharing it on Twitter, Emailing it to friends, doctors, nurses and teachers, including it in newsletters, blogs anything... and asking them to BE AWARE! And we are also asking that when you post the video you consider adding this message: Today is PANDAS/PANS Awareness Day across the country. Please take a few minutes to watch this video, it could save a childs life. This illness is affecting hundreds of thousands of children across the country and world. And the saddest part of this illness is it is almost always misdiagnosed. To help us continue to assist parents that need help, fund research, support the doctors that believe in this, I am asking that you donate $9 to PandasNetwork.org today, in honor of October 9th being PANDAS Awareness Day. This small donation to this amazing non-profit will go a long way in helping families facing this and the doctors treating, researching and making sure these children get the care they deserve. To make your donation please visit their website at pandasnetwork.org. Thank you for your consideration!
