What could have been an absolute disaster and my worst nightmare but turned out to be case of perfect timing .. Picture this ... Arriving home to collect Olive from a neighbours house after a play day .... As I pulled up in the car I thought Oh! look there is another tiny black shaggy poodle in the neighbourhood.. Simultaneously I thought where is its human ... Then immediately I started to shake and couldnt work out how to turn the ignition off as I realised that the little black shaggy was Olive calmly trotting along the footpath in her little purple jumper all alone!!!! She was clearly on her way home! ... She was very happy to see me and not distressed in any way.... She jumped straight into my arms... We went down to my neighbours... Who started shaking more than I was!!! Olive had literally only moments before been lying on the back of the couch while Ellen was knitting ... We think the rest went like this ... Olive followed Ellen out into the back courtyard and as Ellen hung out washing the black shaggy one managed to find the tiniest gap under the side fence that had probably been created by a puppy that had visited in the last couple of days... She then managed to find a hole under Ellens neighbours side gate that had recently been created by their puppy... This literally all happened in a matter of minutes.... I cant begin to let myself imagine what might have happened if I had not arrived home at that exact moment but thank god my beautiful little girl is lying in her favourite spot on the back of my couch totally oblivious to the disaster that might have been
