What do you call a movie/flick that touts filching the Kohinoor diamond after a good 150 odd year as a means of stopping/indefinitely postponing a dreaded terrorists extradition from England to India or then a flick where the leading pair are so obsessed with looking good that they fail to realise the fact that they also have to emote on screen apart from looking good?????; well the answer lies in two simple words BANG BANG.......... Ladies, Gentlemen and fellow audiences welcome to a little more than two and a half hours of banality, boredom, cliches galore, style without substance and utterly mindless dialogues like terrorism ke business main kabhi recession nahin hota and so on and so forth; in other words:STRICTLY AVOIDABLE......... One really wonders what made Siddharth Anand officially remake the Tom Cruise Cameron Diaz starrer Knight and Day officially in Hindi as Anand must surely be in the wrong profession if he considers gutter tripe like Knight and Day to be well worth the effort of exposing all Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif fans to more than two and a half hours of mind numbing and gut twisting torture that would put even an Adolf Hitler to shame......... Now for the plot if one can call it that to begin with: Omar Zafar (an utterly and totally wasted Danny Denzongpa) Indias most wanted terrorist is holed up in a maximum security prison somewhere in England and is on the verge of being extradited to India when his trusted aide and comrade in arms Hamid Gul makes a colossus like appearance on the scene and blows apart the prison as if it were made of cardboard while exterminating honest and upright ISS agent, Viren Nanda (Jimmy Shergill) in the process of arranging/ensuring his mentors escape from prison.......... Cut to the next scene or situation where the two so called dreaded terrorists are confabulating about stalling the dreaded extradition process for good if they can get an Indian ace thief Rajveer/Jai (Hrithik Roshan) to steal the much lusted after Kohinoor diamond from its supposedly impregnable and impenetrable position as if the theft of the same was the panacea to every dreaded terrorists extradition related problems.......... And pray what is Harleen (Katrina Kaif) doing in all these testosterone laden proceedings??????well, the only answer one can think of is that director (if one can call him that) Anand firmly seems to believe in the age old dictum about heroines being nothing more than eye candy and mindless bimbettes who buy every implausible explanation rendered by the hero for his utterly despicable and wanton actions while accepting the same as the gospel truth.........
