What do you know about Muslims? Do you know that a great Muslim scholar, Al Khawarizmi (780-850 AD) wrote a book to deal with the problems of inheritance, land divisions, finances, construction, agriculture, navigation, etc. (Al-Kitab al-Mukhtasar fi Hisaab al-Jabr wa al-Muqaabalah) and it became the basis of modern Algebra (see al-Jabr in the book title)?
