What do you think about this? 5 very dangerous terrorists ranked as HIGH THREAT prisoners who have American blood on their hands were released from Guantanamo Prison by the President ... in exchange for one American who reportedly converted to Islam and seemed to have gone AWOL, and on his own free will walked right into Taliban captivity 5 years ago. One of the prisoners released, ranking Taliban leader Khairullah Khairkhwa, had direct ties to Osama bin Laden. Dangerous men -- you bet! They were all leaders and experts say will be leaders again in the Taliban structure. Is it a coincidence the same week the President announced hes pulling out of Afghanistan almost completely ... that this action of averting the 30 day notification law to Congress occurred? Despite the murky picture about how Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl disappeared, its no secret he had expressed several anti-U.S. comments in the past. In an expose by Rolling Stone Magazine, shortly before Bergdahl took off 5 years ago, wrote: “I am ashamed to be an American. And the title of US soldier is just the lie of fools,” he concluded. “I am sorry for everything. The horror that is America is disgusting.” His father, Bob Bergdahl, responded in an e-mail: “OBEY YOUR CONSCIENCE!” Do you agree this mans reported anti-U.S. comments to his fellow soldiers or words like these in his email shouldnt matter? Perhaps you agree with the attitude as expressed by a White House aide in 2012 when the high-level US-Taliban talks began; “Frankly, we don’t give a s–t why he left,” one White House official said at the time. “He’s an American soldier. We want to bring him home.” Whatever you think -- It goes without saying that his family here in America is very relieved -- and perhaps his dad who in a weird kind of way has become a Pashtun speaking Pakistani at times, so he could relate to his sons captors, isnt thinking about what the US gave up? His fathers reported comments and YouTube posts are controversial and in question for sure. Some criticisms include the father apologizing for all the injustices done to them by the U-S?! Maybe that was his attempt to show his self-professed solidarity as he grew his beard in likeness to the Islamic terrorists elders holding his son .... in an attempt to gain his freedom? Or does he truly believe its all the fault of our country for the misery that part of the world has seen for decades? Misguided or treasonous, as some complain? Like father, like son and thats why he wandered off -- only to find the grass isnt so green on the paradise side?! Who knows -- surely U-S MP investigators can find out through the debriefing process exactly what the Sgts mind-frame and motives were later. All we can say for sure about this is naturally, his parents are just glad their son is safe once again. Whatever your opinion, make no mistake about it ... a huge new precedent has just been set when the President so publicly and loudly, through a pre-arranged public address, announces to the world hes willing to trade! Some in Congress say the President violated the law by not briefing them 30 days in advance of his plan. On Meet the Press Sunday morning, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel responded to David Gregorys explicit question on this subject by saying in a long-winded, convoluted answer, .... I did my duty and notified them yesterday. I kid you not! Poor David must have been overwhelmed by the Hagels obvious verbosity and somehow didnt press him on the difference between 30 days and yesterday?! And some are asking does it signal to these Muslim terrorists that if they capture one American --- they can achieve freedom for several of their murderous kind? What do you think those 5 killers will be doing again in a few months? (excerpt ABC News: All of them ... labeled by the Pentagon as *highly dangerous to the security of the U.S. and its allies if released.*) Ive seen some military Special Ops guys talk about how frustrating it is for them and an injustice to risk their lives day-in and day-out, in that god-forsaken part of the world, to catch the bad guys... the worst of the worst kind of human-beings on earth ... only to see the politicians & weak-kneed prosecutors set them free in a year or two. These brave Spec-Ops souls will do their duty though ... no questions asked when ordered. But, is this the kind of questionable interference -- the injustice kind of interference -- theyre talking about? Hmmm? What are your thoughts?! I hope the President knows what hes doing because this a huge game-changer in the way US policy is carried out? An incentive has now been increased, his critics on the republican side claim. That incentive will put our forces in Afghanistan and around the world at even greater risk,” said House Armed Services Chairman Howard P. “Buck” McKeon, R-Calif., and Senate Armed Services Ranking Member James Inhofe, R-Okla., in a joint statement.
