What does Independence Day mean to you? My fathers family was kicked out of their home in Serbia during World War II. They were given 30 minutes to get out of their home and flea. My grandparents were in concentration camps while their young children figured out how to get out of the country. Meanwhile in Denmark, my mother at 10 years old was hiding in the dark during bombing raids Hoping they would be spared. I come from a long line of freedom fighters. Most Americans dont really get it… What it means to be free and how hard some people have fought to make it so. Celebrate your independence, your freedom… Be thankful! Do something to be part of the solution. Be one of the givers. Happy Independence Day my friends!!! Blessings for a peaceful future! 🌟
