What does it mean to eat clean? Simply, eat your food in its most basic state: -chicken breast vs. nuggets -fresh fruit vs. fruit snacks/drinks/cups -raw nuts/seeds vs. sugary granola mixes -plain, nonfat Greek yogurt vs. individual sugar-added cups -whole oats vs. packaged, sugar/flavor added individual packets The closer it is to nature, the better. If you are going to eat anything pre-packaged, try to stick with 5 ingredients or less (all of which, you can pronounce!). Eating clean isnt more difficult or time-consuming; in fact, its the opposite! When you can grab raw almonds and raisins or throw a few chicken breasts on the grill and steam some veggies, you will save time, $$ and feel soooo much better! (Oh, and dont forget to guzzle that H20. All. Day. Long.)
