What follows after the Thousand years of Christ’s reign? We will see what will happen to this earth and heaven. Daily Bible Scripture 11-23-13 KJV Revelation 20:11 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. We have seen that those who where in the first resurrection, where they reigned with Christ a thousand years, and we see at the end of this thousand years, and the beast, the false prophet, and the devil all been cast into the lake of fire, now we see in our study that the earth also has to come to and end, and this will never be found again, now there will be a new heaven and a new earth where those who have their names in the book of life will dwell with God forevermore , which we will talk about a little later. KJV Revelation 20:5 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. As we look at this scripture we need to understand that the heaven that we see in this scripture is not the heaven where God dwells, and where the throne of God is, but it is the heaven where God placed the sun and moon, one to rule the night, and one to rule the day, the heaven where God planted the stars that we see when we stand on this earth today and look up into the heaven and see the stars, this is the heaven and earth that will pass away with a great noise, and the elements of shall meat with a fervent heat, and the works that are therein shall be burned up. KJV Genesis 1:14-18 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. When God created the heaven and earth, and planted the Stars, moon, and sun in the heaven and divided light from darkness, he saw that it was good, but he didn’t make this heaven and earth his dwelling place, so for man to dwell with God forever this heaven and earth will be destroyed, and those who are saved will inherit a new heaven and earth [2 Peter 3:10] there is much more in the word of God that teaches us that this earth and heaven we see today we will see no more when God has finished his work on this earth, but we look for a new heaven and earth that we will look at in a couple of days.
