What has Ms. Chrissy been up to? Lets find out in this weeks Chef Chrissys Cuisine Chat This week we made nutritious and scrumptious Parmesan Squash Chips! Recipe: Squash Parmesan Chips Cut 2-3 squash as thinly and as evenly as possible then cover with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Parmesan Cheese. We did this is a zip lock bag to keep our hands and classrooms a lot cleaner :) then place the slices on a cooking sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake the chips at 400 degrees for 20min-you do not need to flip them for the chips to evenly cook and become crispy. Why I choose this: This was a different kind of recipe then we have attempted before and a new fun way to get extra veggies into our day! We had fun counting each piece of squash we put into our bags and measuring out our ingredients. Then we got to shake our bags and make sure all of our squash were covered with the mixture…while keeping our hands clean! **Ms. Elayne gave the chips 5 Stars!**
