What is Salvation ? The essence of the regeneration is a new life imparted by God the Father, mediately through Christ and by the operation of the Spirit. The Son is the Giver of life, by dying for them, so that they by eating His flesh and drinking His blood (believing in His atoning death) may have eternal life (Jn 3:3,13). Part of His reward was imparting the Holy Spirit and He ascended in order to become the source of spiritual life and energy. (Gal 3:13-14, Acts 2:33).
