What is on my mind today. I have just come back from Watamu, a coastal town of Kenya where the Watamu Triathlon was held over the weekend and we as Megapixels Productions had volunteered our services to cover the event as freelance media company. We were put up at a beach hotel who were one of the sponsors of the event. As a Vegan my observation about the meals served during those three days was that 90% of food served starting from breakfast to dinner was meat of chicken, cows, pigs, lamb and fish. Besides that there were eggs, milk, cakes, ice-cream, dessert etc. Some hotels also serve prawns, crabs and lobsters too. I was wondering that if ONLY one hotel had to buy all that to serve their guests how much more all the hotels in Kenya must be paying to kill the animals and be part of the cruel industry. How many more animals are killed for the hotel industry worldwide? UNIMAGINABLE. I was just aghast.
