What is the North Pole Experience? As seen on the Travel Channel, USA TODAY, FOX 10 Phoenix, Los Angeles Times, 3TV Phoenix -- The North Pole Experience is the home of Santas Workshop! When you arrive at check-in for our trolley departure station at the The Little America Hotel Flagstaff will board Santas massive trolley. (This is the only transportation allowed to the North Pole Workshop!) Its an approximate 8 minute trip through the portal complete with light, video and sound effects. Your elf tour guide will guide you through the portal where you will arrive at the workshop and depart the bus. Once you get to the workshop, the children knock on the doors, and are invited inside by the elves. From there, you have approximately an hour and 1/2 inside Santas massive workshop! Once you visit the factory, build toys with the elves, eat cookies in the bakery, check out Santas massive sleigh AND have one-on-one family time with Santa, you will re-board the trolley and head back through the portal to Little America.
