What is troubling in d case of Jona is how he failed 2 exploit d national gudwill dat he enjoyed at d begining of his term.First.it was d will of d people dat he assumed office as Acting President.those dat are now villified as ethnic jingoist were d fighters dat rallied on his behalf.they were nationalist at dat time.there was a national outrage when it appeared dat he was not going to get d nomination of his party on account of a zoning formular.And when he finally it.he appeared 2 have a nationalwide mandate.though rigging took place in all d states.what dis showed was dat in..spite of d tendercy to ethnictise. Nigerians were willing 2 luk.not at d sound of d tongue.but at d content of d character.And d question is.how has dat victory been managed.God bless the federal Republic of Nigeria.
