What is your opinion on the use of Caffeine for weight loss and or upkeep of energy for fitness? If you had not heard, Jillian Michaels gave caffeine supplements to her team on the show The Biggest Loser. Its not clear how much caffeine was provided the contestants but it does break the shows rules for no use of supplements. How do you weigh in on the use of supplements in your journey? Do you use them, avoid them, ration or moderate them? There is science that does back up the impact and power behind caffeine for the muscles while in endurance exercise. There is no true science that shows any true harm against it. Yet, these are indeed controlled studies where recipients are rationed and lead otherwise very healthy lifestyles. How might caffeine impact a contestant that does not take caffeine or drink caffeine? What message might this send to the Health & Weight Loss Industry? Is it ok to promote caffeine use and how might we as a community promote it with a proper teaching about moderation. I personally feel like we live in a feel good world and with the up-rise in the past 5 years of energy drinks promoting caffeine and energy Highs that it wont surprise or concern many. I for myself have been a lover of coffee and have maintained for me that moderation is key in all things. I legitimately do have concern about the healthy and true vitality for my clients, family, friends, community at large about the up/down spike in energy. But hey Im a Natural kind of girl and bit of a freak about this lifestyle habit.
