What my father told me two days to his death – Gbemi Saraki The first daughter of the late strongman of Kwara politics, Sen. Gbemisola Saraki, has disclosed that her father’s dying declaration was the need to be level-headed and be extra careful with sycophants. Saraki stated this at her family house today shortly after collecting her Permanent Voters Card (PVC). She said her father, Dr. Olusola Saraki, advised her against arrogance and self-centeredness and the need to continue to support the women and the advancement of the youth. She said as a loyal child, she would not but obey the dictate of her late dad. Saraki, who fought back tears on the mention of what transpired between her and her later father, said hardly does a day go by without her thinking of her father. A source, who is a resident in the expansive Agbaji family house of the Sarakis, informed e-kwara that Sen. Gbemisola Saraki was greeted at her ancestral home by a mammoth crowd of supporters and admirers. She was said to have paid courtesy calls on selected elders in the compound, including her supporter groups in the area.
