What will future generations think of our lifestyles and culture? What will they think of our not thinking anything of driving somewhere in a car powered by fossil fuels to eat a meal packaged in polystyrene containers using plastic cutlery that can last for centuries? What will they think of the videos and other entertainment that now consume our attention as we ignore the warning signs that our way of life is altering the atmosphere, changing the climate, and poisoning the oceans? Will they think we are shallow? Will they think we are selfish? Will they think we are cowards? I think so.
