Whatever one may think of T.D. Jakes (and other big name preachers like him), what is true is true. When God appoints a prophet, he can only speak what is TRUE. Consider Balaam..... Num_22:18 And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more. yet, in the New Testament, Balaam is implied to be a false prophet.... 2Pe_2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; Jud_1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. And Jesus said... Mat 10:41 The person who welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophets reward.... (disclaimer: this is NOT intended to speculate on the legitimacy of Bishop Jakes....its about the message he brings)
