Whatever problems that plagued us today as a nation we called for - TopicsExpress

Whatever problems that plagued us today as a nation we called for it. God has always been merciful to us yet we take it for granted. God blessed us with human resources yet we failed to tap the economic gain it provides. He endowed us with natural resources such as abundant water, arable land, domestic animal and economic trees yet we refused to take on the advantage. He rendered us mineral resources such as crude oil, iron ore, bitumen, Lead and Zinc, coal, Tin and Columbite yet we dumped it for one source of foreign exchange, that is, Crude Oil. Today, only very few privileged Nigerians have access to this black gold while the rest are made to linger in poverty. The beginning of humiliating suffering is just about to unleash it fang on us thank to decades of maladministration and corruption. We will soon witness the fall of our economy and pervading abject poverty among underprivileged Nigerians. Life will soon become unworthy to live. God did not bring us to this point of shame we created and imposed it upon ourselves. We have turned our blessings to curse. Few are getting rich and richer at the expenses of voiceless Nigerians. The children of the looters are getting juicy political posts while the children of the underprivileged ones are made hopeless and useless thank to faulty democracy. Our failure to nip the bud of religion bigotry, ethnicity and regional affiliation have brought us to point of division, hatred, distrust and insecurity. Nigerians are now more divided than when the military were in power. We have ignite what may overwhelm us. Only sheer divine intervention will save us from the precarious situation we are today.
