Whats on my mind? On November 18 (Battle of Vertières,) 2014, I came up with the idea to share a piece of HISTORY, EVENTS, or FACTS with my e-friends. Today, reaching 1968 e-friends, it reminds me the YEAR 1968 when F. Duvalier was ruling Haiti: The piece was originally presented in an award-winning documentary series called Whicker’s World, that ran from 1958 to 1994, variously on the BBC and ITV. Journalist and broadcaster Alan Whicker was not only the presenter of the series but also a shareholder in it. So it is possible that Duvalier was able to let loose because he knew that Whicker was really the guy in charge of the series. Regardless of the reasons, this is the best interview of Francois Duvalier on record.
