What’s going on with Healthcare reform? Obama’s healthcare reform technically named PPACA and referred to as Obama Care by our President, is marching forward. Many of the requirements, taxes and penalties have been implemented since 2010, with the significant provisions kicking in January 1, 2014. The IRS is bringing on more than 2,000 new employees just to implement this legislation. We suspect that many more employees will be needed for implementation, auditing and assessing employer penalties. 18 new taxes and penalties are projecting more than $800 Billion in revenue. The IRS is the designated bill collector. The IRS will likely be incompetent because of complexity, size and scope of the health care reform legislation; bill currently measures over 7 feet tall. The IRS may even become corrupt because money will run short. The IRS grossly abused power at the time Obama granted it new authority.
