Whelp, we have decided to rejoin the living. It was touch & go for a couple of days, each of us swearing we would have to die to get better. For the past 4 days we have moved from recliners, to couches, to beds & back, like zombies, each carrying his own box of tissues, wandering aimlessly, mouth-breathing, coughing, hacking...you get my drift. The ceiling above our bed is permanently damaged by the force caused by our snoring & coughing. BTW, those green slimy creatures you see chasing folks on Mucinex & Zicam commercials are real. They caught us & had their way with us. We have stared into each others glassy eyes with pure fevered suffering not unbridled passion. The only thing that has survived this cold is our sense of humor & the sheer determination that we wont be beat by the common cold. Christmas 2014 will go down in the chronicles of time as the year it passed us by.
