When Hubby and I first married we lived in a tiny 4 room house, - TopicsExpress

When Hubby and I first married we lived in a tiny 4 room house, and that is counting the bathroom...LOL. The kitchen and living room were separated by a counter, which was our kitchen table, and an overhead cabinet with no doors. Hubby hung a door to separate our bedroom from the babys room. The bathroom was so small we had to have a folding door on it and climb over the w.c. to get into the tub. We were poor but we had love thank goodness. We had no place for a washing machine so we had to do laundry at the local laundry-mat. The house was made out of used boxcar lumber and Hubby fixed up everything he could, but we felt like we were living in a shoe box, especially after the baby was born. We started dreaming, praying and drawing house plans. When the baby was 18 months old the man that Hubby worked for gave us an acre of land and Nana helped us get the lumber to build a house on it. We did all the work ourselves just us and the Lord and though it was just a small two bedroom house we thought it was a palace and were truly thankful to God for answering our prayers and Nana for helping us and Hubbys boss for giving us the land
