When I consulted for the United Nations High Commissioner of Refugees (UNHCR) in late 1990, I did workshops with the women. I asked how they felt about their husbands having four wives. The women responded that they were OK with dat if da man had enough money. Interesting, I informed the Sudan, Ethiopian, and Nairobi women dat in Hawaii, no money.....no honey babe! Their Bible is full of family values, nothing I personally interpret as dangerous, not at all. By da way, da kids loved Olelo Hawaii, they were already kamaaina 3 to 4 languages......French, Swahili, English etc...these kids were pono too, when I showed them where Hawaii was by drawing a picture in da sand....da kids told me hey, no wonder we never heard of Hawaii, it is in da middle of nowhere! anybody like see pictures?.......BB
