When I get down, I try to remind myself that none of this really matters anyway. There are galaxies, planets and stars being created and destroyed across a 13 billion and something light year wide universe. Here on earth there are, and have been billions and billions of other people suffering and triumphing at greater levels than I will ever understand, for thousands and thousands of years. Humans are not even worth mentioning in the grand scheme of things, as the universe and even the earth has lived out most of its life without us. We are insignificant. I choose to view my insignificance as a gift instead of a curse. I have a whole lifetime to do whatever I want, and when it is over, the only one it really mattered to was me. I have chosen to make the most of, and enjoy my time here. I will do only what I want to do. This is all youve got, so get it right. Do what makes you feel alive.
