When I proposed that we end the ridiculous tradition of blessing people after they sneeze or risk being rude-- I met resistance. Allegedly I havent had a good upbringing or am not polite for even having the audacity to challenge such a thing. Now, in my bid to end language clutter, I propose that we get rid of the dozen. My reasons: Imperial units are a load of crap, science abandoned them centuries ago due to general shitness when compared to the metric system. Saying a dozen, half a dozen, two dozen, is stupidly inefficient compared to just saying 12, 6 and 24. Whats the flipping point?
