When I started Redford High School...RIP!, the first people I met were awesome! They inspired me & were intelligent and tenacious! They all taught me every day in their own way; without trying, or ever knowing and I take a lot of those lessons with me to this day! I had to think about the fact that I still know several of them; though we dont speak much, I want to give you all thanks and tell you how much you all mean to me! Eric Tiant Johnson, my best friend, my husband. Always taught me to think things through and never make a move out of desperation. Always stand firm in your choices, never apologize for being who you are. AArturo Jazz Miller taught me that you didnt always have to be the one to fit in; you could be different you could stick out not only was it okay, at times,it was better that you did.... Plus, it helped you get away with a lot of other things later on! He also taught me that hard work not only pays off, but real talent never fizzles or fades. Aba E Holmes, taught me how to enjoy being Who you are, while everyone else watches. She also taught me to never take no for an answer, flat out! Zwanjay Brown, taught me to be flashy in silence, find a friend in solace, to make my inner thoughts come out & give it life. Showed me the quietness of determination. I am a people watcher. There are some things that books wont tell you and people cant say; but their experiences culminate to make them who they are and the personality is a textbook to behold..... THANKS GUYS!!!
