When I was 19 years old I interned in the field of rape for infants to 13 year olds. It was the worst year of my life. I applaud the specialist in this field because it takes a better person than me to try and help the child and family that goes through this type of trauma and survives. I was always afraid I would take the life of the people who committed the crime since I was privledged to the arrest information in most cases. To this day my greatest revulsion is child and animal abuse there is no excuse to ever hurt the innocent and defenseless.
