When I was performing the temperature tests, I did a set with the front panel door open to allow for air intake through the removable front panel air filters, and then a set with the front door closed and using the front panel side air vents. I did not notice any difference in temperature readings in either set, so keeping the front door closed should not cause any thermal concerns to the user... thanks to Neoseeker for reviewing Urban T81!
