When I went to Meah Shearim, an American Israeli Hasidic rabbi said, during Operation Pillar of Defense in 2012, that by serving in the military we are shirking our spiritual responsibilities. To him, I say, look at these Bresolvers. These hasidim, though not in the army, are embracing their spiritual responsibility by bringing hope and morale to our boys who are fighting for our very survival on this planet. You heard me- they are not fighting civilians in Gaza, they are not fighting the Palestinians, they are fighting Hamas- which wants to destroy Israel and the Jewish people.
