When I wrote earlier that the birds were chirping, I was of course reffering to the birds that havent been slaughtered by the greatest threat to winged creatures since cats. Who would set up massive bird killing machines for their own profit? Im glad you asked. Its the heavily subsidised wind energy people. Who knew green energy came at such a cost? Who knew bald eagles would have to take one for the team? Come on, who could have possibly predicted that a thirty story tower with a food processor type propeller spinning up to 170 MPH could harm birds? Certainly not the green saviors of the planet (birds excluded) who took stimulus money by the truck loads and built these instruments of death. Remember when it took ages to get a pipeline approved and built? Pipelines that have yet to slice an eagle into mincemeat. Remember the outrage over coal and fracking? Where is PETA? Why isnt Lady Gaga wearing a wind generator costume? What color ribbon will Hollywood wear? A million dollar fine will be paid by one of the bird killers. Bald eagles wont get a dime. But the senseless slaughter of birds continues unabated. To put this all into perspective the same people who are killing the coal industry in the name of the environment and foolishly blocking fracking for the same reasons, have no problem when their own green devices harm the environment. Maybe they think bald eagles are members of the tea party. It all kinda makes a person wonder.
