When Im 64...(not quite there yet) Ah, the joys of growing old, another birthday comes and goes. As a kid I always wondered why most in the geriatric crowd were always grumpy or annoyed. Its hard watching gravity taking a toll on your body, as it withers and changes. Aches and pains are a common day occurrence, mobility becomes restricted and memory a frustration. So ones choices are either to dwell in the misery of decay or rise above the obstacles of aging...learning to make the most of everyday and enjoying life. My choice of the latter has put me on the path of rejuvenation and desire for growth. So here I am in the twilight of life, dancing likes its dawn and enjoying a fellowship with mother nature. My life path has led me through dark forests and deep swamps but my spirit has always seemed to soar over troubled waters to safe shores. Im grateful I was able to survive the indiscretions of youth and finally able to enjoy the bounties of life.
