When Phoenix came into the rescue, he had a significant bump - TopicsExpress

When Phoenix came into the rescue, he had a significant bump towards the back of skull and what appeared to be a related, drooping eyelid on his right eye. We immediately got him in to see the neurologist, who kept him for observation and treatment options. Thankfully, the neurologist confirmed that the bump was not affecting any of his brain function or behavior, but that it did need to be treated. HUGE thank you to Cindy Lee of Wags and Menace Make a Difference Program Foundation for the donation for vet care, without which, Phoenixs MRI, neurologist, and overall medical care would not have been possible. As you can see from the second photo, his bump has already begun to shrink and heal, and his eye is all the way open! And best of all, Phoenix found a home! Thank you again Cindy Lee, for giving Phoenix a second chance! Here he is with his new mom! PS - he also has a 2-year old lab/ridgeback brother!
