When a certain iconic celebrity dies a massive amount of people cry and then proceed to post about it. I am unhealthily involved in cinema and have not yet experienced enough emotional connection to a famous individual enough to ACTUALLY shed a tear. There are plenty of wonderful humans that I adore whom have died recently. I, until tonight, have not shed an actual tear. The two deaths of actress and actor that really bummed me out were Britney Murphy and Heath Ledger. Yet, as sad as I was, neither brought me to weep. The point Im trying to make is that something died inside of me when Philip Seymour Hoffman died. And I couldnt exactly describe it. All I know is that man stood out to me the first time I saw him and I could not get him out of my head. Since then, I had continued to go out of my way to search for any film he was in. No matter how small the part. Before I rant any longer all of you should check out A Late Quartet and witness one of the last works of art this beautifully tragic person graced before he passed. After watching it just now, I completely lost it and cried my ass off at the mere thought of this Man not existing on this planet, in this life, ever again. I cried. Hard. Please dont forget him.
