When are we as a Nation going to stop promoting Racism? Why does our illustrious Media deem it necessary to promote Racism? Why is Racism to blame for any and all issues that may arise? ENOUGH!! I am not a White American, I am a U.S. Citizen, you are not a Black American, you are a U.S. Citizen, you are not a Mexican American, you are a U.S. Citizen. We are all U.S. Citizens and all created equal. Stop using Race as an excuse. Anyone remember this famous quote? I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I agree with Dr. King and believe we should stop focusing on Race and more on the Character of the Individual. If you identify yourself just as a White American, Black American, Mexican American, Italian American, German American, Jewesh American, etc.. Then we are in fact promoting Racism. With that being said, we should ALL be proud of our heritage and remember the hard work and effort our Ancestors put forth to create a better future for ALL. My household consists of individuals of many skin colors. They are all equal as U.S. Citizens and must demand that equality. The only way to demand equality is thru respect for themselves and others and through good Character. Judge them not by the color of their skin but the content of their Character. By their Character ONLY!!
