When it comes to my family... Ive always been the black sheep with tattoos, piercings, unnaturally colored mohawk, and juuuusssst a hint of black eyeliner (who doesnt even feel human). Ive never felt like I fit in with my family at all. They like country music, mudding, trucks, guns/hunting, log cabins, etc... And Im more of an exotic plants and animals, electronic and Enya listening, art loving, introverted sideshow freak. (And dang proud of being one). They have strong Christian faith and Im everything the majority of Christians do not like (Gay, liberal, and technically pagan). They love Alaska and Wyoming. I love Florida and the Amazon Rain Forests. They work well with a military structured life... And Im too chaotic and free thinking for that. My point is, we are polar opposites in nearly every way and Ive always felt very misunderstood, lonely, and isolated because of it. We have also never gotten along too well in the past, especially when it comes to my mom... Though we still get in to it from time to time, it has calmed down a LOT over the past couple of years. And I know that no matter what, I couldnt be luckier than to have them. Despite our differences, I love my family whole heartedly and I know they love me just the same. Theyve had so much patience with me over the years and have given up so much for me... just like they still do.
