_____Jose Mourinho has offered Thibaut Courtois to be Chelsea’s 1st team keeper______ Reliable Spanish newspaper El Confidencial have an intriguing report today – suggesting Thibaut Courtois could be Chelsea’s first team goalkeeper next season, in place of Petr Cech. The El Confidencial article is written by journalist Antonio Sanz, the former Atletico Madrid press officer and friend of Chelsea striker Fernando Torres. Sanz claims in recent days Jose Mourinho has moved to avoid Thibaut Courtois going to Atletico Madrid for a fourth season on loan. All suggestions last week seemed to point to Courtois extending his deal at Chelsea before heading off to Atletico Madrid for another loan. Mourinho wants to extend the contract of Courtois, which has just two seasons to run at Stamford Bridge, and has come to the conclusion that the Belgian keeper will only be happy if he is first team goalkeeper at Chelsea. “The Special One” is willing to cut Petr Cech from the first team to facilitate Courtois into his starting XI. Last summer Mourinho felt Courtois should return to Atletico to ensure he makes the Belgium first team at the World Cup. Now, however, Mourinho wants Courtois to play for Chelsea and has been in touch this season through 3rd choice keeper Hilario, who also does scouting for the Blues. Hilario is often on the phone to Courtois and appears to have urged Mourinho not to lose potentially the best goalkeeper currently in world football at the age of just 21. Complicating matters is Chelsea’s pursuit of Diego Costa, which may allow Atletico Madrid to hold on to Courtois in some sort of exchange deal with the Brazilian Spanish striker. This could even now involve Petr Cech going to play for Atletico Madrid. do you think its the right decision or still we need cech?
