When my brother was alive and I was little butter ball barely in - TopicsExpress

When my brother was alive and I was little butter ball barely in my teens, I remember Streetlight Records. It was one of our usual stops, right after visiting Bobby Gs Soul Disco which was just down the street. My brother would pour over the House Music and Hi-NRG bins, while I kept my fat fingers looking for whatever rap records my paper route money could afford. Those mundane and harmless visits obviously have became revered to me. It was those same times in those same type of places that literally afford me the life I have today. So I say Thank You for the moments you helped create and also for being an unintentional tribute to someone who was truly cared for. P.S. Dont become a trendy fitness or food place. No one will remember that years down the line. P.P.S. Dont sleep on their dollar bins. I still find some dope stuff in there. hoodline/2015/01/after-35-years-streetlight-records-to-close-in-the-castro
